WebbColt Park Wood Natural England own and manage this special area of limestone woodland which is part of the Ingleborough National Nature Reserve (NNR). The main trees are ash and they scramble over the rocky limestone terrain. Underneath the trees, a delightful range of woodland flowers can be seen. This site requires a permit to visit. WebbIngleborough is located in North Yorkshire and consists of two adjacent areas of common land, with an open shared boundary, covering 1500 ha. The site is coincident with Ingleborough SSSI and forms the majority of Ingleborough Complex SAC. Much of the vegetation on the site (41% of Ingleborough (723 m or 2,372 ft) is the second-highest mountain in the Yorkshire Dales, England. It is one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks (the other two being Whernside and Pen-y-ghent), and is frequently climbed as part of the Three Peaks walk.
