WebMar 1, 2024 · About to install a red arc tow pro elite and am hoping to take the brake input (red wire) from the brake switch instead of running a wire all the way to the back to the brake lights or trailer plug. Is this ok? I assume it's only a signal cable to a n/o contact to tell the unit when you have applied the brakes, so only needs 12v at next to no amps.
